Virtual Visit at The Bronx School

May 27, 2022

She Leads STEM made a visit to The Bronx School, a school for elementary level special education children. We worked with three classrooms to spread a message of empowerment and leadership and gave a lesson on floating! Students got an opportunity to take part in multiple activities to learn how to be great leaders in their own community and spread positivity. Then, they played a game of What Sinks and What Floats and learned how boats float. Afterwards, they had some Hands-On Learning and experimented by building their own boats out of tin foil!
